EARLY INTERVENTION 1) Approval for Jean McNealis, Coordinator Occupational/Physical Therapy, to attend an intensive, evidence-based, four-day course on sensory processing disorder and sensory integration intervention in Corning, New York from June 7, 2018 to June 10, 2018 at a cost of $1,619.65. 2) Approval for DCIU to continue to reimburse Early Intervention parents for occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, ABA consulting and therapy, personal care assistant and other services received by eligible Early Intervention students per their current IEPs from July 2, 2018 to June 30, 2019. 3) Approval for DCIU to accept one-time funding of up to $5,000.00 from the Office of Child Development and Early Learning to upgrade current technology for Family Center Parent Educators or Director. 4) Approval for DCIU to contract with Building Blocks Behavioral Services to provide services for Early Intervention students per their IEPs from May 3, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at the costs to DCIU listed below: One-to-One Treatment Staff Services $30.00 per hour Behavior Specialist Consultant Services $80.00 per hour Special Education Teacher Services $38.00 per hour 5) Approval for DCIU to continue to contract with Family Support Services (a member agency of Elwyn) to provide speech and language services to Early Intervention students per their IEPs from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at a cost to DCIU of $31.48 per 15-minute unit for direct services only. 6) Approval for DCIU to continue to contract with Michelle Graham to provide speech and language therapy services for Early Intervention students per their IEPs from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at a cost to DCIU of $68.00 per hour. 7) Approval for DCIU to contract with The Arc of Chester County to provide services to Early Intervention students per their IEPs from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at the costs to DCIU listed below: Special Education Teacher Services $65.00 per hour Occupational Therapy Services $70.00 per hour Physical Therapy Services $70.00 per hour 9
