SPECIAL PROGRAMS 1) Approval for West Chester Area School District to contract with DCIU for Extended School Year (ESY) services for one student at the Literacy Camp from July 9, 2018 to August 9, 2018 at a cost to the district of $2,992.00. 2) Approval for DCIU to contract with Penn-Delco School District for one ESY Social Skills classroom at Northley Middle School from July 9, 2018 to July 26, 2018 at a cost to DCIU of $100.40 per day for 12 days not to exceed $1,204.80. 3) Approval for Interboro School District to contract with DCIU for Sign Language Interpretation Services during the 2018-2019 school year at a cost to district of $65.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hours billed each interpreter request) for up to 30 hours not to exceed $1,950.00 plus provider travel expenses. 4) Approval to continue to contract with Dr. John Fanning as a medical consultant to the ACCESS Program to sign ACCESS medical practitioner authorization forms, write physical therapy scripts, and issue necessary standing orders from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 at a cost to DCIU of $18.75 per signature. 5) Permission for Michaela Trusk, Cabrini University student, to complete a field placement every Wednesday from September 26, 2018 to December 5, 2018 and full-time student teaching from January 22, 2019 to May 3, 2019, at Marple Education Center (pending receipt of necessary clearances). 6) Permission to change the date of a field trip to Washington, D.C. for 20 students and 15 staff members from The County Alternative High School from May 15, 2018 to May 17, 2018 (originally Board approved on March 14, 2018).
