It will set the scene by summarising the role that housing can play in helping to improve people s quality of life and life chances; assess the progress made to date; celebrate the successes achieved; identify some stubborn barriers and suggest solutions to achieve successful outcomes. 10.20 Extra funding for supported housing Philip Hayes, Deputy Head of Homelessness and Support, Department for Communities & Local Government, DCLG - invited This session will explore recent announcements regarding the release of funding for the supporting people programme.
