AABB Audioconferences Delivering Quality Education Directly to Your Facility and to You

Program Overview Audioconference Series for Institutions AABB recognizes that advancing the skills and knowledge of professionals working in blood centers, hospital blood banks, transfusion services, testing laboratories and cellular therapy facilities is a top priority. Even with decreased education training budgets, it is essential to provide these educational opportunities without interrupting the daily flow of business. AABB audioconferences afford professionals in transfusion medicine and cellular and related biological therapies the opportunity to obtain timely information from recognized experts in the field. Keeping individuals and facilities up to-date on current standards, accreditation requirements, medical and scientific advances as well as administrative and management practices is paramount to AABB s educational mission. For less than a quarter of the average cost of sending one person to an out-of-town conference, you can train your entire staff by registering as a host site for an AABB audioconference. Leadership Management Audioconference Series for Individuals Geared toward individuals, the Leadership Management Series highlights topics including employee performance, employee coaching, staff development and managing a diverse workforce. If you are interested in signing up for this series, please visit us online for more details at www.aabb.org /audioconferences. NEW THIS YEAR! Site coordinators will have unlimited access for one year to the sync-to-slide version of the audioconferences for which their sites are registered. Site coordinators will be able to log-into the Live Learning Center to review the audio-web version of the program to share the content with staff members who cannot attend the live program. AABB has collaborated with the Society for the Advancement of Blood Management (SABM) to create a special Patient Blood Management-focused webinar series for individuals. As these are unique sessions, you will need to visit ww.aabb.org/webinars to register online. Discounts are available when you purchase the entire series simultaneously. Please note the dates and times are different from the other scheduled programs.
