2018 Environmental Project Mini The Jacksonville Landing and Sleiman Enterprises will award $1,500 in mini grants, each worth $500, in honor of Earth Day 2018. The purpose of the Earth Day Grant Program is to increase environmental education through projects that promote environmental awareness and consciousness, and/or the development of technical knowledge and skills and sustainable environmental practices. The grant(s) will be awarded at The Jacksonville Landing Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Eligibility: The grant program is open to educational institutions and any organization in the Florida State counties of Clay, Duval, and St. John's. Grant Conditions: The funds disbursed by The Jacksonville Landing and Sleiman Enterprises must be used by the recipient by April 22, 2019. After completion of the Earth Day project/event, grant recipients MUST submit a brief letter/e-mail report to The Jacksonville Landing that includes a summary of the project (photos are encouraged). Application Requirements: Applicants must provide all requested information by April 13, 2018 at 10 am. All applications will be reviewed and grants awarded by The Jacksonville Landing and Sleiman Enterprises. The decision is final.
