Palos Verdes High School Profile The represented the 13 th graduating class since the school re-opened in 2003. In the 2016-17 academic year the total enrollment at Palos Verdes High School was 1698 students. The consisted of 355 students. COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE AND MATRICULATION The went on to attend over 135 different colleges in over 30 states. Six students chose to study abroad. They were accepted to over 275 different colleges, including all University of California & California State University campuses. National Merit Scholarship Advanced Placement (AP) Tests Valedictorians Scholar Athlete Award California Scholarship Federation 6 students qualified as National Merit Scholarship Semi- Finalists, 29 students were recognized as National Merit Commended Students, 6 students were recognized as National Hispanic Scholars 672 students took a total of 1351 AP tests with a pass rate of 70 (Score of 3 or higher) 71 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Distinction 36 students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honor 9 students were recognized National AP Scholars 7 students earned the distinction of Valedictorian at graduation. 65 students were selected as Scholar Athletes, 9 students were selected in more than one sport. 111 PVHS students qualified as CSF Sealbearers.
