WORLD CONFERENCE ON KINANTHROPOMETRY - CHILE 2018 JUNE 29, 30, JULY 1, INTRODUCTION The Education Faculty, along with Andres Bello University s Physical Education department in Santiago, Chile, has the pleasure of hosting the World Conference on Kinanthropometry Chile Through this document, we call for papers and publications for those who wish to present in this event. The World Conference on Kinanthropometry is a renowned scientific activity of an international nature to which around 400 people from more than 50 countries will attend. The main objective is to show the application of Kinanthropometry as an academic discipline that entails the use of anthropometric body measurements in relation to other scientific parameters and/or thematic areas such as human movement, physiology, or health-applied sciences. Besides, we wish to highlight the International Society for the Advance of Kinanthropometry (ISAK), an organization of individuals whose scientific and professional endeavor is related to the ideal practice of kinanthropometry, maintaining an international web of coworkers in all associated disciplines. Chile will be the venue for this mega event in 2018, and our university will be the home that will host authorities, scientists, professionals, and students from all around the world presenting their research in the following categories: WAYS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SEMINAR: 1) Conference: National and/or international specialists contribute to strengthening the focus on kinanthropometry and its relation to health, sports, and nutrition, among other areas. This category is by invitation only. 2) Talks: This is a live presentation by attendees with the purpose of transmitting scientific information from research work on kinanthropometry with clarity and efficiency, always in relation to health, sports, and nutrition, among other areas. These presentations must be

audience-friendly and easily understood. The maximum time allotted to these talks is 10 minutes. 5 extra minutes will be given for questions and answers. 3) Research Posters: A printed strategy of visual communication about the main findings in research works in this specific area of study presented before the scientific community. In this document, we will show the main objectives of the research, the methodology applied, and the main results. In any case, it is necessary to send a summary to be evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Congress, who will determine its relevance to obtain the verdict: ACCEPTED or DECLINED. The acceptance of works is determined by meeting the requirements for your presentation and its relevance and impact. APPLICATION DATE Submissions will be accepted until March 31, No exceptions. ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION DATE The acceptance or rejection of submissions will be informed by email on April 31, The Congress Committee has the faculty of informing with anticipation if they find it necessary. Once the submissions are accepted, the chronogram and schedule of the presentations will be informed. The Congress organization assumes that the researchers that apply to this program have complete schedule availability to present. No modifications of dates or schedules on the chronogram will be accepted. If the researcher cannot participate due to schedule conflicts, the organization commission will eliminate the presentation from the program.
