Army Service Corps s in the British Salonika Force Information has been drawn from The Long Long Trail Website (http://www.longlongtrail.co.uk/) and The National Archives. The Royal Logistic Corps Archives do not appear to hold any War Diaries for s in WW1. It should be remembered that the Army Records Office in Arnside Street, Walworth London was bombed by His Majesty s Enemies on the night of 7/8 th September 1940 and the majority of the records were destroyed by either fire or water. 1 In writing this ORBAT I have listed the units in the order they appear in the War Diaries held at The National Archives. A short summary history has been included that has been taken from the Long Long Trail website. You are also recommended to the Long Long Trail website for a description of the respective company s work. The information contained there sometimes conflicts with the units listed in the War Diaries and the numbering given in the War Diaries has been preferred. This is not a history of the s in the British Salonika Force, but has been compiled to help my research into British Military Railway operations during the campaign.
