Borstel Your host institute Borstel is a village in the district of Bad Segeberg, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Borstel is known for the Research Center Borstel that was founded in 1947 as a research institute with the main focus on tuberculosis and leprosy. The medical clinic of the Research Center has a special ward for the care of patients with tuberculosis. Case presentations You are strongly encouraged to submit cases for discussion during the case review period. For easy submission, please follow the steps below: TB should be the theme of the case study Prepare your case study in a Word document of < 200 words. Give a clear description of the patient including the clinical manifestations and any radiological pictures or pathological findings Include all images pertaining the case study within the document State the questions which you would like to be discussed by the participants If your case study is selected, you will be asked to prepare a short PowerPoint presentation with a maximum of five slides. Therefore, please make sure your contact details are mentioned. Cases can be submitted either by fax +41 21 213 01 00 or sent as an email attachment to school@ersnet.org by March 26, 2010 Bursaries (Available to ERS and TB PAN-NET Members only) A limited number of bursaries, covering either full attendance or registration only, will be available to selected applicants under 40 years of age who are members of the ERS and TB PAN-NET and from countries with economies in transition. Selection from the pool of applicants will be made by the organising committee based on the submission of: Curriculum Vitae.
