The Girl Scout Bronze Award, is the highest honor a Girl Scout Junior can achieve. As you and your team plan and complete your project, you ll develop more confidence, meet new people, and have the kind of fun that happens when you work with other Girl Scouts to make a difference. Bronze Award Requirements: Girls must be registered Girl Scout Juniors in 4 th or 5 th grade. Girls can work as individuals or as a troop. Girls will need to have completed 1 journey at the Junior level before beginning their Bronze Award project. Girls will need to have attended a GSSNV Bronze Award training. This training will count toward their required hours. The Girl Scout Bronze Award requires 20 hours toward the project for each girl. Girls will need to have submitted a project proposal and obtained approval by the Highest Awards Committee before completing a project and turning in a Final Report. Final reports will be reviewed by the Highest Awards Committee and eligible projects will receive an invitation to the Highest Awards Ceremony held in the Spring.
