In the past, similar programs have proven effective at reducing the number of weeks on unemployment All claimants are given a score based on several characteristics Highest scores are most likely to exhaust benefits or not return to that industry and are required to be invited to an orientation Orientation is to engage claimants in workforce activities early in their claim to help find employment sooner and reduce their duration on unemployment
