Local Authority Organisation Project Summary Blaenau Gwent Cardiff Cardiff Cardiff Ebbw Vale VIP Club BME Water Friends Swimming Club Cycle Training Wales The South Wales Interfaith Network Ebbw Vale VIP Club in Blaenau Gwent will use the grant to increase the number of activities and events their members can experience. This grant for 6,940 will fund transport subsistence, entrance and speaker fees, a pocket recorder, printer ink and paper, a portable PA system and a mini hi-fi. BME Water Friends Swimming Club based in Cardiff will use the grant to provide swimming sessions for BME women leading to health awareness sessions covering a number of taboo subjects. This grant for 10,000 will fund swimming pool hire, a lifeguard, health awareness venue hire, speakers and refreshments,and marketing materials. Cycle Training Wales in Cardiff will use the grant to run cycle repair and maintenance for asylum seekers and refugees. This grant for 4,825 will fund staff costs, volunteer training/accreditation and equipment. The South Wales Interfaith Network in Cardiff will use the grant to develop understanding and mutual respect of other faiths by visiting places of worship, delivering training workshops and providing awareness raising sessions in schools. Cardiff Voices From Care Voices From Care in Cardiff will use the grant to develop the understanding of the issues faced by care-experienced young people who identify as LGBT+. The project will deliver user-led participation forums leading to improved circumstances for the community across Wales and personal gains for each participant. This grant for 8,900 will fund sessional workers, travel expenses, room hire, residential care costs, marketing, development of resources and consumables. Cardiff Carmarthenshire Carmarthenshire Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group Wales Canolfan Gymdeithasol Alma Community Centre Llandovery Croquet and Bowls Club Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group Wales will use the grant to support refugee women and their families in Cardiff. They will do this by developing a network of volunteers and mentors who have experienced similar challenges, who will help them to build confidence and develop new skills.this grant for 9,140 will fund salary costs, volunteer expenses, activities, childcare, running costs and training for volunteers. Canolfan Gymdeithasol Alma Community Centre in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to upgrade their kitchen, which has been highlighted as an area for improvement following a community consultation. This grant for 10,000 will fund a new kitchen. Llandovery Croquet and Bowls Club in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to improve access and usability of the lawn area for members and other community groups. This grant for 3,937 will fund a lawn tractor, roller, pedestrian sprayer, fertilizer spreader, wheelchair access ramps and safety steps. This grant for 9,940 will fund mobile storytelling sessions, rehearsals, volunteer expenses, IT equipment, refreshments, marketing,, musical instruments, and office supplies. Ceredigion RAY Ceredigion Ray Ceredigion will use the grant to start a playgroup for children aged two to three for two days per week. This grant for 9,991 will fund a Playgroup Leader and Assistant, play furniture, toys and dressing up equipment, tables and chairs, snacks and a sofa for stories. Denbigh Flintshire Gwynedd Eirianfa Association Emerge Community Arts Clwb Rygbi Y Bala Cyf Eirianfa Association in Denbigh will use the grant to provide a comfortable meeting space for groups, and an area for the community to socialise. This grant for 10,000 will fund carpet and furniture. Emerge Community Arts in Flintshire will use the grant to support people on the Autistic Spectrum with limited communication abilities to express their opinions and needs through music and drama. This grant for 10,000 will fund venue hire, movement and co-ordination support worker, project management, music tutor, printing and administration costs. Clwb Rygbi Bala Cyf in Gwynedd will use the grant to provide improved facilities for the whole community. This grant for 7,066 will fund tables, chairs, a key box and safe, kitchen equipment, and work to be carried out in order to transform the old kitchen into a storage room. This grant for 10,000 will fund training costs, equipment, volunteer expenses, staff costs, utilities, and a one-off event. They will also co-ordinate a community garden project and provide tools for the community to hire. This grant for 9,989 will fund salary costs, utility bills, insurance, community activities, garden project and tools chest scheme. Pentrebach and Abercanaid O.A.P Association in Merthyr Tydfil will use the grant to run a series of social activities and trips for older and disabled people within the community to help combat loneliness and depression. This grant for 5,600 will fund games and audio supplies, transport, raffle prizes and hall hire. Homemakers Community Recycling in Monmouthshire will use the grant to install a ramp to improve parking facilities. This grant for 10,000 will fund a concrete ramp. Pembrokeshire Sibling Group Neath Port Talbot Black Minority Ethnic Community Association will use the grant to hold a series of events to support BME communities and to celebrate cultural diversity. This grant for 6,030 will fund room hire, refreshments, marketing materials, interpretation and insurance, volunteer travel expenses and training. "Pontneddfechan Village Hall in Neath Port Talbot will use the grant to carry out maintenance work to their building in order to provide improved facilities for the whole community. Multi-Sport Social Health & Wellbeing C.I.C. in Newport will use the grant to provide additional sports sessions for adults with learning disabilities for 12 months. This grant for 9,367 will fund venue, gym and tennis court hire, equipment, tennis coach and a support worker. Pembrokeshire Sibling Club will use the grant to provide six day trips for the siblings of disabled or chronically ill young people.this grant for 4,500 will fund coach hire and entrance fees. Rhondda Cynon Taf Keep Wales Tidy Keep Wales Tidy will use the grant to improve an outdoor space at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Rhondda Cynon Taf for patients and staff to use to improve health and wellbeing. This grant for 7,252 will fund raised beds, soil, compost, plants, bench restoration, staff time for delivery and travel costs. Rhondda Cynon Taf Rhondda Hearing Impaired Support Group Race Council Cymru Rhondda Hearing Impaired Support Group in Rhondda Cynon Taf will use the grant to go on trips to help reduce feelings of isolation and depression that hearing loss can cause. This will be followed up with a Christmas party. This grant for 2,080 will fund transport and entry costs and costs associated with hosting a Christmas party. Race Council Cymru in will use the grant to deliver IT training sessions for ethnic minority people including asylum seekers and refugees.
