Project Narrative Results from Prior NSF Support must include the Intellectual Merit and Broader Impacts of the previous work with two distinct headings Clarifies that where the PI and Co-PI have received more than one award they need only report on the one award most closely related to the project. NIH transitioned to a new Grants.gov Adobe application package (ADOBE-FORMS-C) on 9/25/2013 for most funding mechanisms (NOT-OD-13-074) NOT-OD-14-027 announces the transition of remaining mechanisms for due dates on or after 1/25/2014. NOT-OD-14-043 Effective 01/12/2014, the NIH salary cap limit, Executive Level II of the Federal Executive Pay Scale has increased by 1% = $181,500 for 12 month appointment = $136,125 for 9 month appointment Still waiting on guidance on implementation. In the past, the new rate became effective with next Notice of Grant Award. 9 NIH Public Access Policy http://publicaccess.nih.gov/index.htm Publications on progress report (RPPR) must be compliant with the NIH Public Access Policy. NIH will delay processing of award if publications arising from it are not in compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy PIs will need to use My NCBI to enter papers onto progress reports. The RPPR publication section (C.1) is pre-populated with the PI s publications from My NCBI. Publications need PMCID to be compliant. Responsibility of the PI to ensure that all covered parties are in compliance with the RCR.
