The 8th grade volleyball team will be showing their support for one of their own teammates, Samantha Bowers, Grandmother that has Alzheimer's during their game on Sept. 27 th. Samantha is used to looking over in the stands seeing her Grandma in the stands at all her sporting events. This horrible disease is making it harder & harder for her to attend. We would like to pull together to support Samantha in this time of change by wearing purple to the game. The team will be wearing custom purple uniforms for this event. On the front of the uniforms it will say "Memories for Marillyn". 7th grade game starts at 4pm with the 8th grade team playing immediately after. Builders Club 220 will be running concessions for the event with plenty of ice cream from McKendrie Street Café, soda, nachos, popcorn and candy! Let s show our support and pack the place with purple!
