The 2017-18 Cycle Total Funds Available Up to $276,000 Amount and Length of Award Range is $5000 - $20,000 Average $10,000 - $15,000 1-year grants only

Eligibility Must be a collaboration and partnership between community partner(s) AND a university partner(s): Eligible community partners include: Neighborhood, civic and merchant associations Primary, secondary, and post-secondary schools Community-based organizations, such as social service and faithbased organizations Local governmental departments, agencies and commissions Eligible university partners include: UC Berkeley academic departments or faculty Non-academic staff or departments Students/groups (with least one staff or faculty advisor)

Education Grants For education-based grants, applicants are required to identify how the project or program aligns with and forwards the goals of the 2020 Vision for Berkeley Children and Youth. The 2020 Vision is Berkeley s communitywide effort to end disparities in academic achievement that exist along racial lines among children and youth in Berkeley.
