The course will look at the different body symptoms and the illness or disease that can occur. Describe the common signs and symptoms of illnesses and how these might be treated. We will also explore the individuals own responsibilities in managing chronic conditions. Tissue Viability 27.50 Thursday 11 th October 9.00-12.00 This training course discusses all aspects of skin and wound care. Learners will gain an understanding of the MUST tool and the Waterlow Assessment. This course is suitable for all carers and will work towards the SVQ unit in Level 3 FP8F 04 Tissue Viability Risk Assessment. Professional Boundaries 27.50 Monday 20 th August 9.00-12.00 Professional Boundaries highlights limits which protect carers professional power and their Service Users vulnerability. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the importance of maintaining boundaries.

Vital Signs 27.50 Tuesday 27 th November 9.00-12.00 This course will give carers practical skills and knowledge to assess signs when a Service User may be ill and require medical intervention. Vital signs include - heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, respiration rate and pain. New Business Courses Management Skills for Supervisors 55.00 Monday 30 th July 9.30-4.00 This course is aimed at Supervisors, Team Leaders or anyone wishing to progress to a Supervisor. The course provides an introduction to theory and practice of supervisory tasks you may undertake as a Supervisor including assertiveness, time management, leadership styles, chairing purposeful meetings, appraisals and professional boundaries. Customer Care 27.50 Wednesday 3 rd October 9.00-12.00 This course is for all employees no matter what role they hold in your organisation as Customer Care is for everyone. This course will cover the basic skills of excellent customer care, how to define what great customer care looks like and to understand why great customer care is so important.
