Hollin Hall Senior Center will open for resource and weather emergency information. Please call the center before leaving your home for updated center information and possible cancellations: 703-765-4573 When Fairfax County Public Schools have a delayed opening: Senior Programs and Senior Centers: Senior centers will be open. There will be no transportation by FASTRAN and no lunch service at sites served by Fairfax County Public Schools. Activities prior to 10:00 am are cancelled. Other activities and classes may also be cancelled. Please call the center before leaving your home for updated center information and possible cancellations: 703-765-4573 When Fairfax County Public Schools have early release: Senior Programs and Senior Centers: All afternoon senior programs, activities and events are cancelled at the senior centers beginning at noon. 29 Hollin Hall Clubhouse These clubs meet at Hollin Hall Senior Center: Mount Vernon Genealogical Society (MVGS) The Library in room 214 is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. 2 p.m. The General Meeting is on the 3 rd Tuesday of the month in room. On that day, the library is open from 10 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Visit them on the web at www.mvgenealogy.org Mount Vernon House & Garden Club This group meets from September to May. They host knowledgeable speakers and fun trips on the 2 nd Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. 12 noon in room 218. Mount Vernon Antique Club A fascinating group with interesting programs meeting every 3 rd Wednesday in room 216 at 9:30 a.m. They host a varied group of speakers and also have an intermediate version of Show and Tell! Mount Vernon AARP Chapter 3198 Meeting on the first Friday of the month from September to June, this club supports the National AARP and promotes the well-being of our community and members.
