Many of our seasonal residents will be leaving Wesleyan Village by the end of this month. While we have a sizable number of permanent residents, we miss our seasonal friends when they are gone. Twenty-three individuals completed the AARP Driver Safety Course. Classes took place in the Elliott Center on February 2 nd and 3 rd. Jenny Holman was the instructor. Those who completed the course were given a certificate which could be presented to their insurance carriers and apply for any discounts their companies offered. Lucille Nemeth was presented with a dozen roses at the February Music Night. Doug Juecstock the MC of the evening made the presentation. This is the third year that such presentations have been made. Donna Bess, Jill Cooper and Julie Woodall perform during the Golden Anniversary celebration on February 14th. Six couples were honored during the evening. Over sixty RVer s gathered for their annual picnic. Jerry Irvine provided some of the live entertainment. Dr. Paine and Carl Unger answering questions from individuals in the apologetic s group. COMMUNITY BULLETIN FREE INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE WITH E-FILING is being offered to all taxpayers with low to moderate income February 1 through April 15, 2015 by AARP Tax-Aide volunteers trained in cooperation with the IRS. The local site in Brooksville is the GRACE WORLD OUTREACH CHURCH (the Dome Church) on MONDAYS 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You will need to bring photo IDs, Social Security cards or other official documentation for yourself and all dependents, a copy of last year s tax return, all W2s, 1099, etc., and a cancelled blank check with routing and account number.
