Message from Kent Messenger group The KM newspaper want to hear from you about local FWW stories. Pick up a Kent messenger for details or contact Lesley Bellew: Email: lesleykbellew@gmail.com Mobile: 07803 582 396 Business: 01795 886016 Twitter: @LesleyBellew Web: www.lesleybellew.co.uk Screening of Rites of War from Gravity and Levity Lindsey Butcher and Judith Hibberd, see http://www.gravity-levity.net/ Interpretive dance show linking Afghanistan with the First World War, see http://www.gravity-levity.net/productions/rites-of-war/ for details. Looking for a space to show it in Kent. Updates from Kent's Research Working group Rob Illingworth and team are producing a timeline for the First World War in Kent. This is being collated by libraries, archives and local history groups. Produced an abridged version of the timeline for distribution and Kent County Council trying to produce a web friendly document. Organisations and groups are free to use the information gather (although permission from the IWM needs to be sought to use the national information provided by them). Rob requests that everyone contributes their own local information to the wider county timeline. There is a template spread sheet which can be distributed out to groups or organisations. This will also be distributed via the blog (details to follow). The timeline can then be linked with the events calendar to help with co-ordination and marketing.
