1. Ngamanawa Charitable Trust Education Grant The Ngamanawa Incorporation Education Grant is available for students undertaking one of the following qualifications: Qualification: Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Masters Level and above, or a specialist area of study will be considered. Those who are studying for a Trade Certificate through a recognized institution or approved apprenticeship scheme are also eligible for an Education Grant. Value of Education Grant: At the discretion of the Ngamanawa Charitable Trust Trustees as is dependent on the number of applicants Additional Secondary School Education Grant: Year 12 and 13 Secondary School Students are eligible to apply Who should apply? Applicant must be a shareholder of Ngamanawa Incorporation or descendant of a shareholder Proof of Enrolment: Applicants must provide evidence of accepted enrolment for the course they are studying in 2018 Proof of Fees: Applicants must provide evidence of course/study fees (including textbook or associated costs) for the 2018 year 2. Ngamanawa Incorporation & Trustpower Scholarship To acknowledge the relationship existing between Ngamanawa Incorporation and Trustpower Ltd. This Scholarship will be awarded to one successful applicant who meets the following criteria: Selection Criteria: 1. Applicant must be a shareholder of Ngamanawa Incorporation or descendant of a shareholder 2. The course of studies must be undertaken at Tertiary level 2 nd year or beyond 3. Demonstrate an ability and commitment to successfully undertake Tertiary studies 4. Preference will be given to applicants whose course of studies is likely to result in them obtaining a qualification that could lead to employment with Trustpower or Ngamanawa Incorporation 5. Must have at least a 50% pass rate and must provide a record of your academic results 6. A copy of your CV may be attached to assist with your application Value of Scholarship: To the value of $2500 per annum 2

Ngamanawa Scholarship The Ngamanawa Scholarship is awarded to an individual who demonstrates emerging leadership ability and is studying towards a qualification that will assist Ngamanawa Incorporation at the completion of their studies. This Scholarship will be awarded to one successful applicant. Preferred Selection Criteria: 1. Applicant must be a shareholder of Ngamanawa Incorporation or descendant of a shareholder 2. The course of studies must be undertaken at Tertiary level 2 nd year or beyond 3. Demonstrate an ability and commitment to successfully undertake Tertiary studies 4. Preference will be given to applicants whose course of studies is likely to result in assisting Ngamanawa Incorporation at the completion of their studies 5. Preference will be shown to an applicant who demonstrates emerging leadership within their community or Marae and commitment to Te Reo Māori me ōna Tikanga 6. Must have at least a 50% pass rate and must provide a record of your academic results 7.
