FP7-2012-NMP-ICT-FoF Dissemination level: Public PAN-Robots Deliverable D2.1 Executive summary Dissemination is one of the most important activities inside a EU-funded project: PAN-Robots does not make an exception here. The vision, the objectives and the results have to reach stakeholders as soon as they are available. In order to present PAN-Robots at fairs, workshops and conferences, a project presentation has been created and shared with the consortium. This presentation explains the scope, the vision, the objectives and the impact of the PAN-Robots project. Maintaining an updated website is a key factor to reach possible stakeholders and other interested parties. The website is connected to all major social networks and offers up-to-date information of the developments in PAN-Robots. This deliverable illustrates the project website available at www.pan-robots.eu and the project presentation slides. D2.1 Project presentation and project website v0.2.docx iii

FP7-2012-NMP-ICT-FoF Dissemination level: Public PAN-Robots Deliverable D2.1 1 Introduction The PAN-Robots objective is to develop, demonstrate and validate a generic automation system for factory logistics in modern factories based on advanced AGVs. Specifically, the PAN-Robots consortium proposes a new generation of flexible, cost effective, safe and green AGVs in combination with advanced infrastructure systems. Those advanced AGVs will be able to transport material and products in modern factories based on autonomous on-board path planning and navigation to enable high flexibility. The developments of PAN-Robots are accompanied by a strong dissemination strategy which also comprises the project presentation for workshops, conferences and fairs as well as the project website in order to reach interested parties of the general public. This significantly increases chances for market penetration. The structure of this document is the following: Chapter 2 presents the details of the project presentation, its structure and its contents. Chapter 3 describes the website and shows screenshots of individual pages to illustrate the design and the contents of the PAN-Robots website. Chapter 4 summarizes the contents of this deliverable. FP7-2012-NMP-ICT-FoF Dissemination level: Public PAN-Robots Deliverable D2.1 2 Project presentation 2.1 Introduction The project presentation is one of the main instruments to expose the project to events, exhibitions and workshops. The content of the presentation is derived from the Description of Work (DoW) of PAN-Robots that lists the partners and the main results that will be achieved at the end of the project. A great advantage of the presentation is that it is standard and available to all partners on the project repository. In addition, the PAN-Robots project presentation will also be available on the project website. 2.2 Structure The PAN-Robots presentation contains 16 slides and is structured as follows. Project Details Partners Vision, general and technical objectives Potential impact Concept and detailed project description Expected results 2.3 Content Figure 1: Title page of project presentation D2.1 Project presentation and project website v0.2.docx 3

These are useful instruments to present PAN-Robots: at the moment, the internet is the best way to disseminate the results of the project. Standardisation of content and brief descriptions are the key points of the project presentation which is catchy and very well understandable.
