August 1, 2013! Dear Teachers, Cheyenne Traditional School PTO would like to welcome all of you back to school. We would like to express our excitement for the upcoming school year. Because we value your dedication and enthusiasm for our children, we would like to continue our support by providing funds for those excess classroom expenses. We realize that sometimes you incur expenses above and beyond what the school district funds for your classroom. Included in this package is the following information: Join the PTO form cost is $25 for teachers Check Request form Deposit form Teacher Training Request form Grade Level Funding Request form This year the PTO is hoping to get 100% participation from all our teachers. If you join the PTO (for $25) each full-time teacher will be given $300 in classroom funds and each part-time teacher will be given $150 to help off-set any out of pocket classroom expenses during the school year. If you choose to not become a member of the PTO each full-time or part-time teacher will be given $100 towards classroom expenses. In addition to your classroom funds, we are willing to supply printer ink cartridges for printers that are not covered by the District, up to a $100 per teacher. Please check with Chris first for your district allotment. These funds are available anytime during the school year up until May 1, 2014. You will need to complete a Check Request form and include receipts for your purchases. This information can be left for me in the Treasure s box in the front office. In addition, funds are available for any teacher who wishes to take continuing training classes throughout the year. Please submit the Teacher Training Request form to the PTO Board for review, at least 4 weeks in advance of the training class you wish to take. The PTO Board will vote on all requests. Grade level funds, must be requested in advance of making a purchase. These funds are to be used for something that will benefit all the students in your grade and is wanted by every teacher in your grade level. Please submit the Grade Level Funding Request form to the PTO board for review, at least 4 weeks in advance. The PTO Board will vote on all requests. We look forward to a very successful school year.
