Emergency Services/EMS Tracy Warren/Nicole Slusser/Brenda Doolittle A participative experience where students will get to experience tools and knowledge used by emergency room physicians, nurses. Students will get an inside look at the Emergency Department and the variety of services provided for patients of all ages. Students will explore ED trauma room and see some tools and knowledge used in emergency and/or trauma situations. Will discuss the various roles form pre-hospital (EMS opportunities) to roles with in the ED from ED techs to RN. Surgery Various Staff within the Surgery Department A Participated experience were students will get to experience tools and knowledge used in the Operating Room Setting. Stop the Bleed! Education Specialist, RN, MSN This session will not only provide a look at how careers in healthcare support community education but also will provide all attendees with hands on education to learn how to support a person who is bleeding.
