Minors in Duke University Programs Duke has adopted a Policy for Minors in Duke University Programs to establish safeguards for children under the age of 18 who participate in Duke activities and programs on university land and in facilities or under the authority and direction of the university at other locations. The policy requires any program involving Minors to meet the following criteria: Register the program (Duke faculty or staff member) Complete the program application (program director) Complete a Facilities Use Agreement (program director) Obtain a written agreement signed by the parent or guardian (program director) Complete a background check (program staff member) Complete online training (program staff member) 24

Duke Appreciation 2016 Calendar of Events Duke Baseball - Duke vs. Miami April 16 @ 1 pm General admission is $10. Duke faculty and staff with a valid Duke ID pay just $5.00 for a game ticket Duke Dines Out at Local Restaurants May 1 May 31 Special offers and discounts for Duke employees throughout the month. Duke Family Night at the Durham Bulls Park. May 6 @ 7:05pm: Friday Night Fireworks! Enjoy the first Friday fireworks show of May from the Terrace View and get a Durham Bulls baseball cap, all for $14 + tax per person. May 11 @ 7:05pm: The Durham Bulls Food Truck Fest is back in 2016! Grab a seat near your favorite food truck for $6.99 + tax and enjoy all of the fan favorites. May 19 @ 7:05 pm: Come hungry. There are $1 hot dogs, fries and Pepsi products all night long. Your Terrace View ticket will include $5 in concessions credit loaded on the ticket for you to spend on dinner. Tickets are just $14.99 + tax for Duke employees. May 30 @ 5:05pm: Enjoy an evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park with tickets in the Hurricanes Home Run Patio. This ticket will include a seat to the game, a 2-hour buffet and a Durham Bulls baseball cap. The picnic will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and is an all-you-caneat menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, popcorn, chips and dip, and Pepsi products.
