EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The KDHS 2003 shows that the contraceptive prevalence rate has stagnated at around 39% between 98 and 2003. Providing high quality FP services require the adoption of sound evidence based knowledge and principles of practice 13 The objectives ofthis study will be to assess the quality offp services being offered in government service delivery points in Dagoreti district, Nairobi province. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study design. A standard pre tested closed ended questionnaire will be used to collect data. Simple random sampling will be used to select the participants. Trained research assistants will assist to carry out the study. The study is expected to take 15 weeks at a cost of Kshs. 162118. The data obtained will analyzed using SPSS. The analyzed data will be useful in giving recommendations for adjustments of quality family planning service delivery in Kenya. This information will be made available to hospitals, health centers, dispensaries and maternities. IX
