Game Day Information Game Site Athletic & Events Center (Glazer Arena); 101 Lyceum Drive Ithaca, NY 14850 Game Day Warm-Up Session Locker Room Athletic Training Bus Parking Officials Meet Timing Media Relations An Ithaca Athletics Operations Staff Member will greet your team upon arrival to Glazer Arena, and then will proceed to accommodate your team s needs such as locker rooms, post event meals, etc. The track will be made available for warm-up upon arrival. Upon the start of the meet designated spaces will be given for warm-up. No spikes may be worn outside the arena. The visiting teams will utilize the visiting team locker rooms which are located on the lower level of the Athletics & Events Center. A Game Day Operations Staff Member will escort you to your locker room and supply you with a punch pad code. The Athletic Training Room is located on the lower level of the Athletics and Events Center, directly down the hallway from the Visiting Team locker room. A representative from the Athletic Training Department will be accessible in the training room during one hour prior to the meet. Ice and water will be provided during the meet. Please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Athletic Training Staff should you have any other needs or questions prior to or during your time in Ithaca. Visiting Team buses MUST use Lyceum Drive for Glazer Arena drop-off. They are not to use the traffic circle, but instead drop off all teams at the top of the parking lot stairs adjacent to the Athletic & Events Center. Bus parking will be sent to Y Lot. Please see Parking Map for details. All event officials will be assigned by the Meet Director. Full Automatic Timing Operations will be provided by Leone Timing using Hy-tek Meet Manager and a two-camera Finish Lynx System. Live stats and scoring will be provided on-line. Leone Timing will be contracted for all of our meets. Computerized meet results will be available to you immediately following the conclusion of the event. If there are any issues that arise relative to results, please contact the Meet Director.
Athletic Training Information AT Coverage A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) will be on site at all contests or within the athletic facility for matches/meets involving Ithaca College athletic teams. All hosted post-season play and championships will have a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) on site. Our hosting athletic training room will generally open 2 hours prior to the event start and close one-half hour following the contest, or once your team personnel has told our AT staff that they are all set, whichever comes first. Treatment Ice packs, ice cups, ice baths and standard taping and wrapping are available upon request. Modalities such as hydrocollator packs, whirlpools, ultrasound and electric stimulation may be utilized by the Certified Athletic Trainer traveling with the team. THE ITHACA COLLEGE ATHLETIC TRAINING STAFF WILL NOT TREAT ANY VISITING ATHLETES WITH ELECTRIC MODALITIES. Contest Set-up and Supplies Equipment: Ice, plastic bags, coolers and splint kits are standard set-up supplies. Crutches, knee immobilizers, slings, spinal immobilization equipment are on hand for emergencies. Immediate care supplies may be loaned to visiting injured athletes when necessary. Water: Water is a standard set-up at all events. Outdoor events will have water set up, along with water bottles as needed. Indoor events will have water coolers set up and water bottles available as needed. EMS: The host AT will assist you in requesting EMS if needed. Directions to Glazer Arena IMPORTANT TRAFFIC INFORMATION Due to the Clinton St. Bridge being under construction, if teams are traveling on Rt. 13 South to Ithaca College, please follow these directions. Continue on Rt. 13 South Take left on to Green St. Continue on Green St. until you reach 96 B South Take left on to South Aurora St. 96B (This will bring you to the main entrance of campus and proceed to the directions below.) Directions to A&E Center/Higgins Stadium Enter the main entrance of campus off of 96B. This is Alumni Circle. Go around Alumni Circle to Grant Egbert Boulevard. Take Grant Egbert Boulevard to the first stop sign. Continue straight to the second stop sign at Grant Egbert Boulevard East. Make a left on to Grant Egbert Boulevard East. (This will bring you around to the other side of the A&E Center) Follow Grant Egbert Boulevard East to the stop sign. Continue straight. You will then be on Lyceum Drive. The turf field will be on your right. There is a traffic circle immediately past the field. DO NOT pull into the traffic circle. Make the first right immediately past the traffic circle and pull up to the steps on the right and our staff will greet you. (MLOT) When buses depart campus they must depart in the same direction they entered. They may not take the right at the stop sign on Lyceum drive and go through the back neighborhood.
