BASIC INFORMATION: THE 2017 MIAMI CUP is a USA Shooting sanctioned International Skeet Competition open to all competitors. It will consist of one (1) official practice day followed by a two (2) day Main Event and a Doubles Competition (Miss & Out). Unofficial practice will be available every day prior to the competition according to Trail Glades Range s schedule (see below for hours). ***DUE TO RENOVATIONS AT THE TRAIL GLADES RANGE THE COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO THIRTY-SIX (36) PARTICIPANTS. ONCE WE REACH FORTY (40) PAID ENTRIES WE WILL START A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED WAIT LIST*** Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third places overall in the following classes: Open (Overall), Open Women, Junior Men, Junior Women, and Senior (55+). Three International Skeet fields will be available, though competition will only use two fields with one field in between/as a backup field. Shooting direction is to the North. THE 2017 MIAMI CUP will use exclusively White Flyer International Targets with orange dome. All Finals will use White Flyer Orange Crusher Flash Targets. Due to club renovations, there will likely not be any RV hook ups available. However, RVs are still welcome. Notes: Firearm and ammunition storage will NOT be available at Trail Glades Range; and Protective eye & ear protection are required to shoot at the Trail Glades Range. The maximum number of competitors will be forty (40). If prior to the registration deadline the maximum number of competitors is reached, a waiting list will be established. If cancellations are subsequently received, competitors from the waiting list will be entered on a first come, first served basis. FOREIGN COMPETITORS: Each athlete who brings a firearm and ammunition into the United States of America must have an approved firearms permit from the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to enter the United States and clear customs. This is a requirement for entry in to the United States with firearms. We encourage everyone to submit his or her application as early as possible as approval may take up to thirty (30) days. RULES & SQUADDING: THE 2017 MIAMI CUP will be conducted according to USA Shooting/ISSF Rules and Regulations Edition 2013 (Fourth Print, 03/2016) Effective 1 January 2013 (Rule Book). It is the athlete s responsibility to be familiar with all applicable rules. All referees will be ISSF or USA Shooting Certified Referees and/or Judges. Squadding for this match will be done randomly.
