Celebrating the Past, Present & Future May 20-22, 2015 Spring Conference DoubleTree By Hilton Williamsburg Williamsburg, Virginia

Welcome from the President Greetings VASBO members! Congratulations to VASBO for this great milestone achievement - 50th Anniversary, of which we all can be proud of. Thanks for being an organization that has maintained its integrity, quest for excellence and has kept the best interest of School Business Officials at heart. Vision from our past presidents, collaboration amongst the management team, support of our members and generous contributions from our sponsors have been the key to our success. With us all working together in unity and harmony, I am sure the next 50 years will be as successful as the first 50 years. James C. Collins said it best, "Greatness is not a function of circumstance. Greatness, it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice, and discipline." So, as you continue to be part of VASBO, please get involved and continue to build upon a prestigious and honorable organization that cares about empowering its members to effectively provide quality fiscal and human capital support to the students, teachers, staff, and parents in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I sincerely thank YOU, the VASBO Team, the VASBO Executive Director and my better half for making this year a memorable year. I am very proud to be part of such a great organization. I wish each of you and your school districts much strength, joy, peace, and success for many years to come.
