QUICK FACTS The Boston College media relations office is happy to work with members of the media to meet their needs covering our women s ice hockey program. Please follow these instructions: CREDENTIALS All requests for working press credentials for 2012-13 Boston College home women s ice hockey are preferred to be received at least 24 hours prior to the match in question. Please direct all credential requests to: Michael Billings Media Relations Assistant Boston College, 321 Conte Forum Chestnut Hill, MA 02467 michael.billings@bc.edu (617) 552-4508 (Office) (508) 612-9242 (Cell) INTERVIEW POLICIES All interviews with Boston College women s ice hockey players or coaches must be arranged through the media relations office. It is suggested that 48 hours notice be given for an interview request. The Media Relations Office will arrange an interview time that is mutually convenient for the student-athlete and media representative. Student-athletes are not to be called in their dormitory rooms, nor should they be contacted via cell phone, email, Facebook or other social media networks. Rather, players and coaches will return telephone calls to members of the media. Players will not be asked to miss classroom time for interviews. PHOTOGRAPHERS Photographers wishing to shoot an Eagles home game should contact the Media Relations Office directly at (617) 552-1188 to make arrangements. POST-GAME INTERVIEWS Head Coach Katie King Crowley and requested players will be available for interviews following a brief cooling-off period. Media wishing to interview players should notify Michael Billings of the BC media relations staff no later than the conclusion of the game. AWAY-GAME INTERVIEWS Media wishing to interview Head Coach Katie King Crowley and/or student-athletes concerning an away match should notify Michael Billings of the BC media relations staff at least 24 hours prior to the first match of the road trip. Travel, practice and study schedules, etc. will be taken into account and therefore, on some occassions, interviews may not be conducted until the team returns to campus. WEB INFORMATION Boston College releases, statistics and game recaps are available to members of the media via www.bceagles.com. Information about Boston College and the other seven Women s Hockey East Association institutions is available at www. hockeyeastonline.com/women. LIVE SCORING Ice Hockey fans and media personnel can follow the action live over the internet via Gametracker, which provides live-scoring and statistics through www.bceagles.com.
