The instructor will give a live demonstration on how to safely and properly change a tire, check tire pressure, check fluids (e.g., oil, water, transmission, brake, steering and washer), check the air filter, and will show you how to replace a battery. After completion of this workshop, you should be able to identify certain tools that are used to maintain your vehicle, such as: tire gauges, tire jacks, lug wrenches, wheel wedges and safety triangles, and you should be able to utilize these tools to illustrate the proper protocol on how to safely change a tire. The instructor will guide you on how to look for tire wear and show you how to properly check the pressure and inflate or deflate the tire to factory specification. Throughout this workshop, you will also learn how identify the different types of warning lights and how to get them decoded before taking your vehicle into a mechanic.
