1 Venepuncture Overview Approx ½ day This Venepuncture Training course is designed for all RGNs, enrolled nurses and qualified staff who may have not conducted venepuncture before or require a refresher to update their skill set. Attending this course will update your theory skills and provide the opportunity for practice before carrying out the procedure in a work environment. Following the theory of venepuncture there will be a practical session designed to offer all participants to put their skills into practice in a controlled environment. Also to understand Dysphagia: symptoms, diagnosis, care and treatment. 1 2 Basic Life Support Includes Adult, Child and Infant First Aid Overview Approx ½ day This course is designed to instil the most important life-saving skills by teaching the techniques required to maintain life until qualified medical assistance can take over. Delegates will learn how to conduct primary and secondary assessment including basic first aid and placing casualties into the recovery position. They will also learn the principles of resuscitation in adults, children and infants and will demonstrate this practically.
