INDIANA SCHOOL NUTRITION A SSOCIATION Annual State Conference November 3-5th, 2016 French Lick Springs Hotel - 8670 West State Road 56 - French Lick, Indiana 47432 w w w. i n d i a n a s n a. o r g

Welcome Dear Industry Partner, On behalf of the Indiana School Nutrition Association, I am excited to welcome you to join us at the 63rd Annual State Conference being held at a new venue this year...the beautiful and historic French Lick Springs Hotel in French Lick, IN! Conference will begin on Thursday, November 3 rd and run through Saturday, November 5th with the Exhibit Hall to be open from 1:00pm - 5:00pm on Friday the 4th. We look forward to another successful conference and hope that you will choose to be a part of what makes the Annual State Conference wonderful! The theme this year is Learn. Lead. Succeed: Bridging the Gap, therefore, we are planning events that will provide insight into bridging the gap for all aspects of our work life. The professional development committees are busy planning the education sessions and the general session speakers have all been set. I think you will find the speakers especially good this year! Some noteworthy changes and continuances this year include: * Exhibit Hall All exhibits will be under one roof and in one room! * Conference mobile app We will once again be utilizing a mobile app to include an interactive map of the exhibit floor! Attendees will have the ability to click on your booth and view information about your company. We are very excited about this tool for both attendees and industry. We heard great feedback from those who used it last year! Please consider a sponsorship for this mobile app! Do you know how many times the average person looks at their mobile devices each day?! There is also a text message tagline sponsorship...each time we text our attendees your company name will be seen! More information can be found on page 8. * Director/Buyer only For the first 45 minutes, rather than one hour of the Exhibit Fair, you will have the opportunity to interact with Directors and Buyers only for some good one on one discussions of their needs. * Culinary Exchange This event was, again, a huge hit from both industry and member perspective. According to attendee feedback they d love to see more food demos and recipe sharing. Also, they had a hard time with sample testing after lunch so you will find that we have moved this event to the morning hours from 9:45am-11:45am on Saturday. We encourage industry partners to team up with other partners to make Culinary Exchange as impactful as possible. For instance, if you represent equipment and would like to showcase the use of a certain piece, why not partner with a food manufacturer or representative as a great opportunity for both companies to shine!!!! Contact Sheri Shipp for suggestions. * Chinese Auction We are graciously welcoming items for the popular Chinese Auction, ISNA s annual fundraiser, where attendees bid on items, winning tickets are drawn, and members walk away with fabulous prizes. To RSVP your auction item, contact Sheri Shipp at sheri@indianasna.org. Again this year we will provide 2 evenings of entertainment to include a Local Indiana Tasting Reception on Thursday and a Mind Tripping experience on Friday! We encourage industry to attend these events as they provide time for extra networking with your customers. There are several sponsorship opportunities available this year. As always, your generosity allows us to provide quality programs to our members, while also giving Industry a valuable marketing opportunity. Sponsorships are listed on page 8 of this packet and can be signed up for during the registration process. ISNA would like to sincerely thank you for your interest and partnership and we hope to see you in November!!! Sincerely, Lori Shofroth, FMP ISNA President-Elect and Conference Chair 2
