It was also determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to a medical facility for treatment of injuries he received during the accident. Deputy was dispatched on report of suspicious person smoking marijuana in his vehicle. Upon contact with the driver, he admitted to smoking and provided the deputy with the remainder of marijuana. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the driver of the vehicle and determined she was under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment of any injuries from the collision. Once cleared, she was arrested and booked into the SMC Jail.
