Narratives Subject: Entry To Vehicles Type Date Time Author Approving Officer Initial Report 08/17/2015 0431 DESALLE, JAMES D ALLEN, DAWN entry to vehicles 988, 954 Allen Knerr said he returned home and was turning into the parking area on the south side of the street in the 100 block of Neil St. He said he saw 7-8 B/Ms standing around a vehicle and all took off running when his lights illuminated them. Knerr saw the door standing open to the listed Oldsmobile belonging to Bryan Mcclure. The vehicle was checked and appeared to have been gone through with paper and items thrown about inside same. Mcclure was contacted by dispatch and responded to his vehicle. He said the only thing missing was an Ohio State hat, which was orange in color, that he had just bought from the Erie County Fair last night. He said nothing else was missing and he is unable to lock the vehicle. Knerr said another vehicle on Neil St was also entered. The listed Pontiac, belonging to Hunter, was also ransacked with the glove box standing open and the interior lights still activated. I attempted to contact Hunter at an address pointed out by Knerr and met with negative results. A business card with the report number was left on his windshield to contact this agency. Ofc. Gautschi was stopped by Mcclure and he said a can of spray hardware lubricant was left in his vehicle by the subjects involved. The can was tagged and placed into evidence by Ofc. Gautschi. Ofc.
