This position is responsible for the independent management of the RAI process for all members of the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVHK). The incumbent is the RAI/MDS subject matter expert for WVHK and is responsible for training staff and conducting in-services on the RAI/MDS/CAAS and care planning process for all Health Care Team members. The incumbent oversees the development and provision of MDS reports for quality assurance purposes and surveyor request; acting as a resource to all staff and departments involved in the RAI/MDS process; monitoring quality assurance of the RAI process; evaluating, recommending, and following up on Quality Indicator reports; overseeing data retrieval assistance for surveying agencies; assisting with monitoring of staff involved in the RAI/MDS; ensuring compliance with state, federal and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) regulations, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), and WVHK policies and procedures.
