Registration and Payment We only accept online registrations. Abstract submission deadline: 22 April 2019, 6pm CET. Only registered participants are eligible to submit an abstract. How to submit an abstract: Thank you very much for your interest in the Structural and Molecular Biology of the DNA Damage Response. Please follow the guidelines for the submission of your abstract. 1. Register for the conference (https://www.cnio.es/eventos/index.asp?ev=1 ). 2. Visit the abstract and submission area. 3. Fill the applicant s data. 4. Select the appropriate abstract type for your presentation (oral or poster presentation). 5. Follow the formatting guidelines. 6. Select the appropriate fees (students, CNIO staff, Post-docs and Academia Industry). 7. Click "Next" to finalize the payment by credit card * Do not press enter/intro key until the end of the process. When submitting your abstract you can apply for an oral or poster presentation (one option does not exclude the other). A selection process will take place and the results will be announced by email 2-3 weeks after the abstract submission deadline. All abstract submissions must be made electronically through the CNIO- la Caixa Structural and Molecular Biology of the DNA Damage Response Conference s website (https://www.cnio.es/eventos/index.asp?ev=1 ). Authors are kindly requested to submit abstracts only on this website (abstracts that are sent by e-mail will not be accepted). Payment must be made before being considered for oral or poster presentation.

Bank transference If you are going to pay through bank transference, please indicate it in the Other Information of Interest field. Please enclose a copy of the bank transfer voucher and do not forget to include your name/surname and CFM MAY 2019 in the reference. Send it to eventos@cnio.es General Information Registration Fees Registration Fees (include admission, conference materials, meals and coffee breaks): Participants are expected to book and pay their own accommodation and travel expenses. Short talks Short talks will be selected among the submitted abstracts. A small number of abstracts will be selected for short talks by the organizing committee. When submitting your abstract you can also apply for an oral or poster presentation. A selection process will take place to announce result 2-3 weeks after the abstract submission deadline. Poster sessions Posters should be placed upon arrival according to the abstract numbers placed on the boards. Please bring a printed copy of your poster, A0 size (70cm wide / 120cm long), portrait format. First authors are requested to stay next to the poster during the poster sessions, this will give participants a chance to present their posters to the speakers.
Abstract Awards Awards may be given to a maximum of the three best short talks ( 250* each) and to the best three posters (170* Euros each). The awards will be given at the end of the congress, the prize winners must be present. Awards will be effective through bank transfer. * Taxes will be applied depending on their residence status. Registration cancellation and refund policy In case of cancellation, the fee will be refunded excluding handling fee, 60. A written request must be received before April 22th, 2019 to (eventos@cnio.es). No refund will be made if the cancelation is received after this date. Substitutions are acceptable at any time. Any applicable refunds will be paid after the conference by bank transfer. Official Language The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided. Please note that speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, however, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may require substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topic. Insurance The organizers bear no responsibility for untoward events in connection with, before, during and after the conference. Participants are strongly advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance coverage. Internet Access Free WIFI access is available throughout the Meeting venue with no time limit. NO visa support letters will be issued until payment of the registration fee is confirmed.
