He attended the University of Illinois, where he was captain of the basketball team and earned All-Big Ten Honors. Since then, he has had an illustrious over forty-year career in professional basketball, including a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction. It is an honor to have him as this year s Tip-Off Luncheon keynote speaker.
