Guidebook, Part 1, provided information about regional awards that are submitted to your regional Achievements and Awards Committee chair for processing. Grand Basileus Bonita Herring authorized distribution of Part 1 to chapter basilei in February 2014 - prior to your regional conferences. The Grand Basileus has now authorized for immediate distribution Part 2 of the guidebook. Part 2 provides information for submitting applications directly to national committees for national awards. Please note the following: 1. Applications must be received electronically or via regular mail by May 16, 2014. 2. Applications for some national awards should be directed to national committees other than the National Achievements and Awards Committee. Please refer to page 4 in the guidebook. 3. Applications directed to the National Achievements and Awards Committee may be submitted either of three ways: a. Electronically via http://www.dropitto.me/sgrhoawards (password: Awards722). ANNIE LANE LAWRENCE MENTAL HEALTH ACHIEVEMENT AWARD APPLICATION Purpose: Eligibility: The Dr. Annie Lane Lawrence Mental Health Achievement Award is given each year of the Boule for outstanding service in providing Mental Health Education to the general public and projecting the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. image. Individual Sorors or Chapter Criteria: Soror or Chapter must have: 1. Implemented, sponsored, or helped to support a project geared to Mental Health. 2. Projected the Sigma image by publicizing the Mental Health Project.
