SPU Manila INTER-OFFICE BULLETIN Vol. VII No. 45 15 September 2014 RECENT ACTIVITIES Wellness Day Healthy Choices 18 August 2014 9:00 A.M.-12:00 NN Levesville Hall Advocacy: Pro-Life and Authentic Social Participation On 19-20 March 2014, most of the academic community became aware of their yearly health status and underwent the annual medical and dental examination. It was found out that the top three diseases in the community are Hypertension, Diabetes Type 2, and Dyslipidemia. In this regard, the Health Services Unit organized a Wellness Seminar to remind the Paulinian community on how to manage one s health, both in the workplace and in their respective homes. Objectives At the end of seminar, each participant was expected to be able to: 1. display awareness of one s health status. 2. plan actions towards achievement of personal wellness. 3. realize the importance of a manageable lifestyle in the workplace.
