Developed in conjunction with the Food and Drink Manufacture Health and Safety Forum, and with support from industry-leading professionals, our 2018 conference theme will focus on A positive place for safety and health in a changing world, with a full programme to support, providing delegates an insight into current issues developing from the industry, working together to future-proof the industry with potential changes in legislation. The conference will include an opening update from HSE, a stimulating talk from a senior director in the industry, an inspirational closing keynote speaker and other topics suggested in the feedback from last year s successful conference. Other items will focus on the current hot topics from the food and drink industry, giving an insight into some of the practices of leading organisations, both inside and outside of the sector. The conference speakers will share their occupational health and safety challenges, providing good practice techniques for you to take back to the workplace. Topics include: - Leading health and safety the view from the boardroom - Advanced technology solutions for MSDs - Attracting and retaining good people, and overcoming language and cultural challenges - Effective intervention to prevent lung disease - A focus on resilience, stress and mental illness Who should attend? The event is designed for anybody working in the food and drink manufacturing industry with a passion for improving health and safety performance, including: - company directors - health and safety leaders and consultants - supervisors, worker representatives and managers Practitioners from outside the sector are also welcome to attend and network with our members with a view to sharing best practice, both within and outside the food and drink sector. Why attend?
