Student Right-To-Know Rates The following report contains summary information about cohort graduation rates, and then presents the six-year graduation rates based on race/ethnicity and gender. rates for students who were eligible for federal Pell Grants are reported. The Pell Grant is a federal grant awarded to students who meet specific income and financial need criteria. Typically, the percentage of Pell Grant students in a college is a proxy for an institution's ability to address access by lower income students. rates for first-generation college students are also reported. First-generation status is defined as students whose parents did not graduate from college.
