Facility Usage Rates Disclaimer: Pricing categories are used as a guide for determining when it is appropriate to charge for facilities and services. To determine the pricing category, we consider the organization and each specific event. Category 1 Intent is to maximize usage by as many students/student groups as possible. In general, events that include only members of Texas A&M student organizations there should be no charge. When organizations include more than their own members, there will be no charge if event is less than 4 hours. TAMU departments that use the facilities for less than 2 hours fall in this category. Category 2 Texas A&M University Student Organizations charging fees for their event or hosting a social event lasting longer than four hours Category 3 Texas A&M University departmental event lasting more than two hours or charging fees to attend. Category 4 Texas A&M University System Parts and Affiliates Category 5 Non-Texas A&M University Related 16
