Greetings Sorors, Brothers, Amicae and Guests! It is an honor to invite you to join us for our 2014 State of Georgia Leadership Conference in Athens, Georgia! The State of Georgia Zeta and Amicae Boards are working tirelessly to plan a conference that will be informative, educational and entertaining. We will continue our focus on Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood by providing opportunities for personal, professional and Sorority development. We will also continue our tradition of honoring Georgia s Finer Women by inducting new members into the State of Georgia Hall of Fame, highlighting the accomplishments of our chapters and auxiliaries and awarding our Chapter and Auxiliary of the Year honors. Parking is available in the University s South Campus Parking Deck, located next to the UGA Hotel. Additional Parking Rates: Daily fees are $4 for the first hour, $1 for each additional hour. There is a maximum of $10 for each 24-hour period.

2014 STATE CONFERENCE AWARDS 2014 STATE OF GEORGIA HALL OF FAME PREVIOUS INDUCTEES Chapters are invited to nominate a Soror for induction into the State of Georgia Hall of Fame. To be considered for induction, the Soror: Must have been a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated for at least 15 years (10 years must be consecutive) Must have attended at least five (5) State Conferences and two (2) Regional Conferences Must have served in a leadership position on the chapter level Must have provided exemplary service in upholding the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Should be a member of/volunteer for other community or professional organizations Must be nominated by a chapter Visit the State of Georgia website to download the Hall of Fame nomination form or use the online submission form. Crowder Chapters and Auxiliaries that meet minimum national requirements for completion of Z-HOPE programs will receive Z-HOPE Recognition. 2014 Z-HOPE Awards Chapters and Auxiliaries exceeding minimum national requirements for completion of Z-HOPE programs will be in contention for Z-HOPE Awards. National Requirements are one (1) Z- HOPE for Women AND one (1) Z-HOPE for seniors. Any program provided in the Z-HOPE manual can count in Chapter/Auxiliary recognition. Only activities from the Z-HOPE manuals and outlined by the National Z-HOPE Committee are eligible for recognition and competition. Competition will be within each chapter size category. All documentation must be submitted to the State Z-HOPE Coordinator by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2014.

Chapters submitting chapter reports for the State Conference may be eligible for the 2013 Chapter of the Year award. To be considered for Chapter of the Year, a chapter must have completed the following MINIMUM requirements: Completion of the REQUIRED Z-HOPE activity for Women 2014 Chapters of the Year Categories Graduate 1-15 16-25 26-40 41+ Undergraduate 1-10 11+ Completion of the REQUIRED Z-HOPE activity focusing on Elder Care and/or Abuse Additional Z-HOPE Activities focusing in an additional National Initiative, which can include: o Program for Healthy Living o Adopt a School with Limited Resources o Zeta Week of Military Service o Operation Home Front o Prematurity Awareness o SE Regional Z-HOPE Project Participation in a Founders' Day observance (event, community service project, etc.) Participation in at least one (1) community walk in your area, through fundraising or volunteering o 2013 March for Babies or 2013 Relay for Life may apply to this goal o Documentation must be provided to the State Z-HOPE Coordinator Hold at least one (1) embellishment activity for current members Hold at least one (1) sisterhood activity (outside of Founders Day and Finer Womanhood) All Chapter Reports must be submitted by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2014. Amicae and Youth Auxiliaries submitting reports for the State Conference may be eligible for the 2014 Auxiliaries of the Year award.
