SRS RAISE THE ROOF FOUNDATION WHO WE SUPPORT Members of the United States Armed Services Through research, policy development, programs, and Presidential recognition, the Bush Institute s Military Service Initiative informs, influences, and unites communities, non-profit organizations, businesses, academia, and philanthropy to maximize the health and well-being of post- 9/11 veterans and military families, setting the conditions for a successful transition and their continued leadership as civilians. Luke s Wings unites wounded warriors, veterans and heroes with their loved ones when they need them most. When federally subsidized benefits for injured service members expires, Luke s Wing s helps to fill that void by providing travel and lodging to and from America s major military hospitals to the injured soldiers immediate and extended family members. Having close family and friends by their side leads to more successful recovery over a shorter period of time. 22KILL is a 501(c)3 with a mission to not only raise awareness of the staggering number of veterans who die by suicide every day, but to provide empowerment and prevention programs to help drive that number down. 22KILL provides veteran empowerment programs that help veterans maximize their talent and training, understand their value, and find passion and purpose outside of the military. CASA of Collin County CASA of Collin County plays an essential role in the community by providing well trained volunteers who advocate for children who have been removed from their homes because of severe abuse and neglect. Since 1991, CASA has served over 10,000 children. CASA is appointed in 100% of cases where children are removed from their homes by CPS in Collin County.
