16th Annual HIV and Hepatitis C C Course Information About the Course Changes occur rapidly in the fields of HIV and Hepatology. This course is designed to provide practitioners with the most up-to-date clinical information on a variety of topics to assist in their care of patients living with HIV and/or Hepatitis C. Presentation formats include didactic sessions and interactive case presentations, followed by subsequent question and answer periods. Course Objectives After attending the course, participants should be able to: Describe the new classes of direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) available for treatment of chronic HCV. List the antiretroviral medications which can safely be used with the new hepatitis C direct-acting agents (DAAs). Discuss the current standards of care for initial and preferred therapy for HIV infection. Target Audience The symposium will be of interest to physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, mental health practitioners, and case managers who care for those infected with HIV and Hepatitis C. Tuition By May 15 After May 15 Physicians $50 $100 Residents & Other Health Professionals $25 $50 Tuition includes the conference registration, continental breakfast, breaks and lunch and available course material. Refunds minus a $25 administrative fee are possible if cancellation of registration is received in writing by May 30. After May 30, refunds are not possible, but a substitute may be sent in your place. Refunds are processed only when a written request is received by the Office of CME.
