Autodesk Women In Leadership Scholarship (@autodeskwomen) Background: There is an under representation of female employees in certain sectors such as Engineering (11%) 1, Construction 13% 2 (although the on-site figure is even less at 2%) and Design 22% 3. Autodesk have sponsored five scholarships, for female applicants, on Manchester Metropolitan s Industrial Digitalisation Masters programme. Five places will have course fees subsidised by 4000, upon award of the scholarship. The scholarships (merit award) are linked to the Autodesk Women In Leadership programme founded in 2011, which empowers the women of Autodesk and helps them realise their career potential. The five places will be offered to female students from a variety of undergraduate disciplines including, but not limited to: Three Dimensional Design Industrial Design Engineering Biomedical Sciences Fashion *student applicants from other courses are still eligible to apply and will be assessed on an individual basis by the decision panel Scholarship applications must be submitted by 01/08/18 and will be reviewed by a decision panel on 14/08/18. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION AUTODESK WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP NAME: UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE: 1. If you feel that you can successfully answer these questions and you are driven and dedicated to a career within Industry 4.0 then we would like to hear from you! If you are a recipient of one of the Autodesk Women In Leadership Industrial Digitalisation Scholarships, you will be required to maintain / write a case study that encapsulates your journey as a student on the MSc Industrial Digitalisation course and may also be willing to travel to and attend Autodesk events internationally such as Autodesk University (in Las Vegas, USA or London, UK) or the OTx in Copenhagen. Students awarded the scholarship must also be prepared to take part in promotional activities for the University and Autodesk; such as producing social media content and featuring in marketing materials. Terms and conditions The scholarships will be awarded as a reduction in fees for students commencing a full master s course (180 credits) in 2018/19. If Recognition of Prior Learning or any other prior learning credits/experience are applied which reduce the number of taught credits below 180 credits, students will no longer be eligible for the scholarship. No other form of Manchester Metropolitan University discount or scholarship may be used in conjunction with the Women in Leadership scholarships (with the exception of an alumni discount). The scholarships are only available for the MSc Industrial Digitalisation course. If a student transfers courses or changes their study mode they will no longer be eligible for the scholarship. The scholarships are is open to full time, home, EU and international self-funding students. The scholarships are available for September 2018 intake only. Successful applicants will complete a scholarship gift agreement prior to starting the course, which will cover additional terms and conditions.
