\~ RESOLUTION Js~BSTITUTt WHEREAS, an official position of the City of Los Angeles with respect to legislation, rules, regulations or policies, proposed to or pending before a local, state or federal government body or agency, must have first been adopted in the form of a Resolution by the City Council with the concurrence of the Mayor; and WHEREAS, the State of California's Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and Strategic Growth Council (SGC) have released the 2014-15 Notice of Funding Availability for the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Program (AHSC Program) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through projects that support infill and compact development; and WHEREAS, the State appropriated approximately $130 million for FY 2014-15 and SB 862 requires that, beginning in the 2015-16 fiscal year, 20 percent of the annual proceeds of the GGRF be appropriated for the AHSC Program; and WHEREAS, the funding from the AHSC Program is critical to the City of Los Angeles' efforts to increase the availability of quality affordable housing and transportation-related improvements for its residents and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in disadvantaged communities; WHEREAS, the following projects located in the City of Los Angeles will be submitting concept proposals for AHSC funding and if invited to submit a full application, will apply for funding under this program: Beverly and Lucas, Beverly Terrace, PATH Metro Villas Phase I, King 1101, South West View, 127 1 h Street Apartments, Crenshaw Gardens, Crenshaw Villas, PATH Metro Villas Phase 2, PATH Metro Villas Phase 3, Rolland Curtis, MacArthur-B.
