We have one case of Hand, Foot & Mouth Illness confirmed by a doctor. According to the State of NH Dept. of Health and Human Services this Illness/Disease is a virus which is transmitted similarly to the common cold plus can be spread if hands not washed well after using the bathroom. The illness usually goes away without any serious complications. As long as the student does not have a fever and feels well enough they may attend school. Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults with the concession stand open with food and drinks to purchase. Please see attached for more information and permission forms. The raffle will help to offset the cost of each student s spring trip to Washington, DC. Because all food items in the turkey dinner baskets have been donated by faculty and staff, students are able to apply their individual sales of raffle tickets to directly offset the cost of their trip. Please show your support for the 8 th grade class and buy some tickets! Tickets are $1 each or $5 for 6. Raffle drawing will be on Thursday, 11/16. Washington DC Payments The following payments are due to Ms. Sturzo in by check in black or blue pen payable to Epping Middle School. 10/27 $250 12/8 $250 1/19 $200 Permission forms along with a $100 non-refundable deposit is due ASAP or add it to the October payment. Team Leaders Each grade has a team leader that is the contact to answer questions or have information that is related to each grade. Admission is $5 per student and a concession stand will be open with pizza, snacks, and drinks available for purchase. Please remember dress code and school policy applies during dances. Students will be dismissed by the Middle School doors promptly at 8:30 pm. Please park in the Middle School parking lot and walk up to the sidewalk to dismiss your child. Weekend Food Program - Epping Middle School is proud to once again offer a weekend food program to families in need this school year. In collaboration with 68 hours of hunger, the food program provides students with food for the 68 hour time frame between Friday s lunch at school and breakfast Monday morning at school. Community News and Upcoming Events: The Epping High School Athletic Boosters will be hosting the 2017 EHS Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 11 from 9AM-3PM at the Epping Middle High School Gym on 21 Academy St, Epping. This event will focus on showcasing arts, foods and crafts from local artist, crafters and bakers. The cost to shop at the fair is free for all ages. The Boosters are now taking applications from artisans and those interested in participating in the craft fair. Epping Middle School Parent Teacher Organization Membership Form 2017-2018 W elcome to the 2017-2018 school year. Our PTO builds relationships with various community groups and business. We foster strong relationships between families and the school. We aim to promote and provide opportunities to demonstrate civic and social responsibility. We support and assist in preparing our kids to be responsible citizens by modeling what it means to give back to your community. We encourage all parents and staff at Epping Middle School to join the PTO. Membership dues are only $2 per person and are used to support our school.
