This session is appropriate for first-time parents and parents of many! As a certified Gottman educator, Mark Anderson is authorized to present this program on behalf of John Gottman, Ph.D., the creator of the program. Though it doesn't take a workshop to figure out that kids change a couples relationship, this class will help you learn what is normal and what is not. Caryn Long is the regional representative for the Nebraska Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) in the Western Service Region. Caryn maintains an office locally in Scottsbluff and travels throughout the panhandle. The mission of the program is to offer free, unbiased information for Nebraskans on Medicare and other health insurance. Because Medicare and other types of insurance can be confusing, Caryn and her SHIIP volunteers in the panhandle are available to meet with consumers for personalized counselling, outreach events, media awareness, public presentations, and enrollment events. Jerry Lucas has been a student of Native American and western expansion history from a very young age. He began working at the Scotts Bluff National Monument in 2006 as an interpretive park ranger. In this capacity he has conducted research and prepared presentations for park visitors on a variety of topics including the Pony Express, Rebecca Winters, the Mormon Trail, as well as battles and forts in the Scottsbluff Valley area.
