We are hosting our 1 st Benefit Gala on December 13, 2014 at Piedmont Avenue Elementary School. For this event, we are seeking your sponsorship. In exchange for your sponsorship, you will be listed in our program. Your company can also help us by providing funds in the form of a grant or by donating goods and services. A copy of our tax-exempt status is attached. Enclosed please find the fact sheet, sponsorship levels packet and sponsorship form. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to speaking with you at your earliest convenience. Thank you in advance for your support. Sincerely, Jean Harris and Irella Blackwood Passport to College Co-founders

FACT SHEET Passport to College is hosting its first signature Benefit Gala on December 13, 2014 at Piedmont Avenue Elementary School at 4314 Piedmont Avenue Oakland, CA of the San Francisco Bay area at 4pm. Organizers are currently recruiting sponsors, volunteers, partners and exhibitors. We expect a 150 person audience that is primarily composed of professionals and business owners. People will be thrilled to learn how many businesses, agencies and groups are working toward expanding the capacity of STEM professionals from the international community. The benefit gala will introduce participants to and educate them about our mission. Attendees will experience STEM subjects through a variety of activities, participate in our silent auction, listen to our keynote speaker and network over food. Anyone interested in helping should call Irella Blackwood at 510-290-9500 or Jean Harris at 408-761-2843 Our website is www.passporttocollege.org and we are on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. All businesses, organizations and individuals interested in our mission are invited to participate.

FACT SHEET (Continued) HISTORY OF ORGANIZATION: Passport to College recognized the international disparity between students who have the academic potential and finances to attend college and those who have the same aptitude, yet lack resources. Too many of these students who lack resources are not able to attend college. To address this issue and create access for more students to attain a college education, Passport to College was born. We seek exceptional STEM students from the international community who lack resources and support them in their journey from college application to career. IS THERE A FEE TO USE YOUR SERVICES? Students are charged $0 to use PTC services. Our services are completely free to the students enrolled in our program. WHAT IS STEM? Stem are the fields of study for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. HOW LONG HAS PASSPORT TO COLLEGE EXISTED? PTC has been an idea which formally came into fruition in 2012. HOW CAN PEOPLE DONATE? People can donate financial gifts, time, products, mentorship, talent and other services. See donations section on website for more information. HOW CAN STUDENTS APPLY? Please have students you know apply on our website. We will then reach out to the students to let them know the status of their application. HOW LONG WILL PASSPORT TO COLLEGE SUPPORT ITS STUDENTS? Our goal is to support our students journey from the college application process until they are successfully prepared for their career or further graduate studies. WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS? We are excited about the potential of new innovative ideas in the STEM fields that will advance our medical experiences, technological experiences and more. We want to enhance the workforce that is responsible for teaching our children mathematics and sciences, thus the benefit of international students in STEM will benefits us all. HOW DOES PTC FUND ITSELF? PTC relies entirely on the following to fund itself: Fundraising efforts Donations financial, gifts, in-kind gifts

December 3, 2014 RE: Confirmation of Representation and Status Pending To Whom It May Concern: Our law firm is representing Passport to College in the nonprofit formation process and application for their 501c3 status. The nonprofit s 501c3 tax exempt status is pending approval by the IRS. The IRS grants tax exempt status retroactive to the date of incorporation (May 1, 2014). Our firm has a 100% success rate getting our client s their tax exempt status and expects the IRS to approve the application for tax exempt status for this organization. The IRS is currently backlogged so the final determination letter granting the tax exempt status may take longer than the standard 60 to 120 days quoted by the IRS. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our office. Yours truly, TSW: sl Thomas S. Wrobel
