Far less attention has been spent on how institutions can support low-income students in addressing the broader spectrum of financial hardships, including basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, and healthcare. This session will present an expanded definition of financial supports for low-income students, share the benefits of investing in these supports, and offer strategies and insights on how institutions can weave these into redesign efforts.
